Billabong is a game of jumping kangaroos. Each player has five kangaroos, each of which must cross the creek and race clockwise around the board, to finish by again crossing the creek.
In this game, I was "red", and three of my kangaroos are yet to cross the creek and start racing — that’s why they are upside down, with the kangaroo symbol hidden. A dozen or so moves later, one of my kangaroos jumped all the way around the track, starting and finishing on the one turn. I’d never managed that before!
